Responsibilities

You will be working with the Company Board in delivering monthly management accounts, project performance, business performance & improvement, month-end close, and purchase & sales ledgers. The role is within a small team, so there are no direct reports. The role is based in our Aberdeen office.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Later stages of studying for accountancy qualifications or qualified
  • Previous experience with ERP, MI Systems and excel integrated reporting preferred.

Project Managers Aberdeen/Perth/Crawley, West Sussex

We have an exciting opportunity for dedicated hard working Project Managers to join our Projects Team working for an expanding and successful ICP – EPC business.

The main purpose of this role is to project manage and deliver multiple wide-ranging projects on the distribution network up to and including 33kV, including within a Primary Substation environment.

You'll take on the role of key duty holders which could include, Designer, Principal Contractor depending on the nature of the project.

Responsible for teams of engineers, craftsmen, and sub-contractors you'll ensure they have the skills, qualifications, tools, and materials to deliver effectively.

The roles are based in Aberdeen/Perth/ Crawley West Sussex

Salary £38,195 - £63,375 depending on experience with a commensurate benefits package.

Responsibilities

Actively promote a positive safety culture on your projects whilst ensuring all health safety and operational rules and procedures are adhered to by staff and contractors.

Manage the delivery of multiple projects with values up to £1m, in a safe and efficient manner meeting allocated scopes, quality standards, timescales, and budgets. This will include high-level programming and in-depth financial forecasting.

Contractor management from tender and procurement stage through to execution and close out of projects.

Working closely with internal stakeholders including estimate and design, specifically in the early stages of project lifecycles to ensure the project is deliverable

Assess and manage relationships with external stakeholders on your projects, and ensure that work is carried out to DNO/IDNO G81 requirements.

We are currently looking to recruit an Estimator to join our current Estimating Team.

The ideal candidate will use their industry experience and knowledge to provide detailed estimates for client projects, including cost estimates, worktime estimates and overall customer satisfaction. Maintains existing client contracts and continuously seeks out new clients and estimating opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost budgets and cost estimates for new contracts.
  • Ensure consistency across all project estimating and pricing, including making amendments, providing new cost estimates, and maintaining communication with the Client.
  • Adhere to company standards and guidelines when analysing and providing estimations; focus on maximising profit and customer satisfaction, while minimising any potential risks to the company.
  • Prepare detailed, well-written proposals for each Client, adhering to Client guidelines while offering competitive and comprehensive cost estimates, including supplementary documentation.
  • Maintain relationships with existing Clients keeping a sales-minded attitude and seek out and build relationships with new clients.
  • Keep detailed records of all estimation documentation, including site assessments and contract terms.
  • Balance multiple proposals and estimations at once, ensuring each reaches the Client by the deadline.
  • Liaise with other company departments to maintain business development and continuously innovate new profitable outcomes.

We are currently looking to recruit a fully qualified time served, experienced electrician. The successful candidates will have a passion for learning new skills and the ability to pay particular attention to detail, good communication skills, timekeeping and excellent teamwork skills are essentials. HV experience would be advantageous.

You will be required to install electrical equipment at sites throughout the UK; therefore, at least 2 years of electrical site experience and a full driving licence are essential.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualities and attributes:

· Review pre-job briefs and asks questions to check to understand.

· Reads and understands Work orders/Instructions/Method Statements/Risk Assessments.

· Carry out appropriate risk assessments before undertaking any work

Experience

· Minimum of 2 years as a time served electrician

The role is to be responsible for the installation of electrical connections, up to 33kV and to deliver a flexible and rapid response service to a variety of utility and private clients.

The role will include:

  • Working on development sites and the public highway
  • Understanding utility plans and setting yourself and others to work.
  • Undertaking cable jointing and network energisation activities

The person:

  • Experienced Cable Jointer role working in a construction/utilities role
  • DNO Authorisation current or just expired.
  • Have live mains jointing and new connections experience
  • NRSWA operative card,
  • CSCS card.

Individuals must have a full UK driving license and be willing to travel.
