Project Scope

The design, installation and commissioning of the ICP network connection and the balance of plant customer 33kV network to enable 5 MW PV solar farm to export power from the Sutor site in Somerset. This project included 0.5km of DNO infrastructure, point of connection DNO substation and the customer 33kV switchboard and the High Voltage (HV) network from the two 2.5 MVA transformers to the purpose- built combined customer & Western Power Distribution network substation.

Our Solution

DNO point of connection infrastructure design
Customer HV network design to the 2.5MVA transformers Provision P28 and earthing studies.
Installed and commissioned the DNO & Customer Switchgear Commissioning the protection including the generation G59 system.
All cable jointing was carried out by MES Jointing teams Build the Substation and install the auxiliary wiring and earthing system.
